Monday November 18
Today we began our ABC's of Mesopotamia Rap. Students worked on a worksheet labeled A thru Z and will write two lines of poetry for each letter and explain a certain word.
Our example from class: Assyrian Empire ruled by fear, they had a violent military with iron spears.
Homework: work on the rap for 20 minutes

tuesday, November 19
Today, we continued working on the ABC's rap and students were each assigned a letter to write 2 sentences about. Remember the rules of this rap:
- Keep it simple
- Make it make sense
- Get your facts FIRST!!!
- Then, worry about rhyming it last
WednesdaY november 20
Sorry, I'm out of class for a teacher conference. Students will complete a Review Worksheet about Chapter 3 in advance of our Test on Thursday/Friday.

We take our Chapter 3 Test and then will finish our ABC's of Mesopotamia. Please do this map after the test. You will copy the map posted here on your worksheet :)
