We completed a map of ancient Egypt using the below worksheet.  We finished the map in class but if you didn't finish it is homework.

We took notes on the iMax video Mystery of the Nile.  We really got to see the impact of Egyptian Geography in the best way possible.  If you are missing class, make sure to watch the video on YouTube.

ABC's SLIDESHOW steps:

  1. Make your recording an MP3, if you've done this SKIP to step #2
    1. Done recording?  In Garageband, Click the word SHARE at the top of the page
    2. SELECT export podcast to disk
    3. CHOOSE mp3 and best quality
    4. CHOOSE where to save...desktop?
    5. Then, UPLOAD that picture to your Google Drive (open google drive and click upload file and choose that file)
  2. Now, you'll want to create a PICTURE from each page of your Google Slide
  3. Yes, that means 26 pictures one at a time
    1. For example, on the slide for A, click at the top FILE, then DOWNLOAD AS, and SELECT JPG, then B, then C
  4. Now that you have 26 JPG pictures and an mp3, OPEN WE VIDEO from BEACHPORT
  5. Click PROJECT and select COLLABORATIVE so that other members can edit too
  6. SELECT the people you want it shared with!
  7. Now, click the folder button on far right which is MEDIA and click the CLOUD BUTTON to IMPORT your pictures!
  8. DRAG your MP3 and your PICTURES into the window and then you can DRAG them into the area below which is the video timeline
  9. Now, work to have each PICTURE go along with the words you are saying about that letter
  10. YAYYYYYYYYYY!
