Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!!!!!  Enjoy your day off and remember that MLK was inspired by one of the people we'll be studying about in India:  Gandhi, a great peaceful protester that helped gain Indian independence from Britain through peaceful measures and not resorting to violence.  

​Tuesday, 1/19/16

We reviewed the difference and similarities between Hinduism and Buddhism.  We took notes on a Venn Diagram for this and then took notes about the Maurya and Gupta empires as well.  

wednesday, 1/20/16

Students created a Google Presentation with pages on Hinduism and Buddhism and used pictures and bullet points to illustrate the beliefs of each religion.  We'll expand on this Google presentation on Thurs/Fri to include the rest of our Review worksheet categories (geography, culture, etc.)

Thursday/Friday, 1/21/16 & 1/22/16

We expanded the Google Presentations that students worked on Wednesday to include the sections from the Chapter 7 Ancient India Review.
