We will take a ride down the NILE RIVER today!  There is a great iMax movie Mystery of the Nile that we will watch to fully understand the GEOGRAPHY of the Nile from source (beginning) to the sea.  It runs north until it empties into the Mediterranean sea and we'll watch as these explorer become the first to travel the entire journey of the world's longest river.

Today, students worked on increasing their knowledge of Egyptian Geography and then wrote a Journal entry as an Egyptian trader about their travels along the Nile River.

HOMEWORK:  write a Journal as an Egyptian Trader (follow instructions on the worksheet)

WEDNESDAY, december 5

We are creating a Google Slide about Egypt and we can use what we've learned in class and our textbook to write about Egypt.  I made a template that you can follow and please think about what we talked about in class to make your Slides GREAT!!!!

We'll start with GEOGRAPHY and then move into SOCIETY... please read the pictures of the History Alive textbook below to add to that section.
