RACES writing strategy helps us write an essay effectively
We reviewed Chapter 7 and practiced writing essays today. We used the format RACES.
R = Restate the question
A = Answer the question
C = Cite a source (find a quote that helps prove your answer)
E = Explain how the quote proves your answer
S = Sum it up in a conclusion
