Today, we'll complete the WORLD GEOGRAPHY WORKSHEET in class and then we'll see how far we can get on the GEOGRAPHY BOOTCAMP covering the basics of geography.

Today, we remember the tragic events of 9/11/2001. We spoke briefly about the importance of remembering our history and working together to make a positive difference in this country and the world.
We then took notes on the 5 Themes of Geography. One side of our worksheet was notes and the other was the assignment for tonight and tomorrow night. I give examples in our notes about the city of Washington D.C. Then, the homework is to describe those 5 Themes of Geography for LAGUNA BEACH or another place they are familiar with. Lastly, students can get extra credit by producing a creative project and bring those 5 Themes of Geography to life in one of the following media presentations:
