MONDAY, 9/12/16Today, we finished the Scavenger Hunt and if students didn't finish, they will complete for Homework.
I then went over my top 10 list of how to be successful in my class and what behaviors to avoid. These will be helpful to provide a safe environment that focuses on LEARNING :) Remember the Homework tonight is to finish the Scavenger Hunt :) TUESDAY, 9/13/16We took notes on the 5 Themes of Geography. ON the one side of the notes we found WHAT the 5 Themes of Geography are and then for homework you will do the 5 Themes of Geography for Laguna Beach or a city of your choice. Just do one city and follow what we did in class.
Below, I'll post the powerpoint and we'll do a project tomorrow to ILLUSTRATE your city. You can do any type of creative project that shows the 5 Themes of Geography in a multimedia or creative way.....here's some ideas: Google Slide, Prezi, iMovie, WEVIDEO, Powtoon, a Poster, a Song, a Rap, a Slideshow. Here's a couple videos to help you think about doing a great project! 
WEDNESDAY, 9/14/16Today, students came in with their 5 Themes of Geography notes and the homework on the back side. IN class, they chose to ILLUSTRATE those 5 themes of Geography for Laguna Beach or another city. Many students are working on a Google Slide, or a poster, or a song, rap, or TV show about the subject. We will continue work on Thurs/Friday too :)

We continued work on our projects on Thurs/Fri in class. The 5 Themes of Geography project was due at the end of class today. Students turned in their work on EDMODO and I'll include a link below to that Edmodo assignment. |
