TUESDAY, 9/6/16

Welcome Back to School!!!!!  Today we'll go over class expectations, class rules, and get started on how to do well at Thurston.

WEDNESDAY, 9/7/16

Today we'll get our code to join Edmodo.  Make sure and use a name and password that you can remember....and definitely write it down somewhere!!!!

Then, we'll complete a Google Form about what you did this summer and who you are and then it finishes with a really cool video about what we're doing in school.  It's really thought provoking so we'll have some great discussions about what he has to say.

THURSDAY, 9/8/16

Students finished the Google Form that I posted yesterday  and we discussed the importance of school that John Green proposed in the video that we watched.

Then, we did a scavenger hunt that drew answers from my website, Edmodo, Haiku, and the general layout of my classroom.

Friday, 9/9/16

Today, we connected to ALL the technology for my class and school.  In addition to Aeries and Beachport, we checked on logging on to Edmodo and surfing Mr. Nelson's website, Google Calendar, District Website and beyond.  Students should be able to check their grades, navigate Edmodo and check my website and Google Calendar for all kinds of class happenings, homework, etc.
