we got right into working on the Lascaux Caves activity.

Today, we began with the following JOURNAL WRITE: 
How long have you lived in Laguna Beach (or the town you live in)?  What do you think of it?  Think about the sights and sounds and things that make your town special...  If you were telling someone from another city, how would you describe your town and the places you go or enjoy or like?

THEN, 

We worked in groups on the following VISUAL GEOGRAPHY worksheet and followed the Canva Presentation below

Today, we began with the following JOURNAL WRITE: 
Where's the furthest place you've traveled?  Tell me about it.  Where would you like to go?  What places interest you and why?

THEN, we began our LAGUNA BEACH MAP PROJECT!  Here's the instructions and this will take about 4 school days to complete.  Slow and steady, make it GREAT.  I'll give EACH student an 18" x 24" paper to construct this map and we'll start on it together with handouts in class to assist the project.
