Monday, march 18

Today, we continued work on our GROUP activity creating a timeline about Jewish history.  Students are using the timeline we began on Thursday/Friday and producing a creative way to present information about all 16 dates on our timeline.  They can create an Adobe Spark Video, video slideshow, rap song, and any other creative multimedia presentation.

HOMEWORK:  study for test on Thursday/Friday, study guide, or work on project

tuesday, march 19

Students used our Greeks Books to take notes about the Minoans and Mycenaeans.  Here's the pages from that book and the worksheet we worked on below...

WEDNESDAY, march 20

Students begin work on a PAGE of the Greeks Book we are CREATING.  This page is on Geography and follows the information from Chapter 11, lesson 1.  Students will create an informative and creative page that tells about Greek Geography.  I give students card stock paper to create this page and it should have at least 5 great facts and answer the guiding question:

How did the geography of Greece affect the early settlement and way of life of the Greek people?

HOMEWORK:  finish work on the Geography Page

THURSDAY/Friday, march 21 and 22

Let's begin by watching these couple videos.  Then, we'll use the worksheet from Tuesday to create a page about the Minoans.
