Here we go all you cool cats and kittens!  READ CAREFULLY!

Classical Greece Project starts today :)

First you have a choice to make.
  • Will your project cover EVERYTHING or will you be an EXPERT IN ONE AREA?
  1. So, the choice is to cover each topic lightly
  2. Or cover ONE area in a very deep manner.

I have posted a new tab on the website (Greek Legacy Project) that you will use to create your project.  Please reference it every day and I will post new information daily to help you do your project.

You are responsible for the daily work and to make progress on your project each day.  Please let me know if I can help you in any way and I will check in with you to see how your project is going.

Today, watch the video on the right and read ahead to decide HOW your project will go.

Here are the 9 areas we will cover... ONLY THE ONES THAT ARE BOLDED ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE EXPERT PROJECT:
  • Democracy and Citizenship
  • International Relations:  Peloponnesian War
  • Alexander the Great
  • History (and the writing of history)
  • Philosophy
  • Drama and Art
  • Math/Science/Astronomy
  • Mythology
  • Architecture and Sculpture

Wednesday 4/22

Good morning!  We're talking Golden Age of Greece today and one thing that happened first was the Peloponnesian Wars
  • Please read these 2 pages to the right (62 and 63)
  • then take notes with this worksheet - one or two sentences about each section
  • If you have extra time, you can jot down notes for your project, but if not, we'll do more tomorrow
  • remember project is due May 4 and we'll work a little each day :)
  • If you can't print the worksheet, do on a Google Doc or on paper!

Also, note, we'll do a Zoom on Thursday, 4/22 at 1pm, the LINK is on Thursday's page.

If you're interested in a Virtual Museum, I posted a HOW TO video on the Project Page :)
