  1. Then, begin class by reading page 14 of your Greeks book.

  3. ​NEXT, create a page on the GREEK CITY STATE using the handout and your notes about Greek city states and culture

Today I was out but students completed a worksheet on Greek Government systems...Monarchy, Oligarchy, Tyranny, and Democracy.

That worksheet should be done in class.

Wednesday, april 11

Quick discussion and review of Greek Government systems and then we are creating a GREEK GOVERNMENT page.

HOMEWORK:  work 20 minutes on your Greek Government page

thursday/friday 4/12 & 4/13

Students will continue work on the City-State page and the Government page.  Then, we will begin focus on learning about 2 city-states:  SPARTA AND ATHENS.  
  1. Please begin by CREATING a T-Chart on Google Doc to take notes. 
  2. Then, READ pages 22 to 23 and then 42 to 43 in the Greeks Book.
  3. Then, READ the pages I posted BELOW and add any NEW information to your T-Chart!

  5. Now, if we have time, we'll begin a page on Sparta and then a page on Athens.
