Today, we'll learn that our early people who were hunter/gatherers changed their lives completely after the Ice Age ended in 10,000 B.C. In the shift to taming plants and animals we are understanding that people began to farm about 8,000 B.C. and that shift to farming is the Agricultural Revolution!

- First, I will check yesterday's worksheet.
- Secondly, please continue work on your Chapter 1 Concepts Google Slide
- Please DELETE these 2 pages from your presentation UNLESS you already finished them - ICE MAN and The STONE AGE
- Please add the following pages to your Google Slide
- Domestication Page - define the following terms in bullet points: agriculture, domestication, surplus (look up online), and Neolithic Age
- Agricultural Revolution page - use page 28 to create 5 bullet points
- Studying the Past page - use page 30 and 31 to define primary sources, secondary sources, and oral history
- And, if you have time, please create one last slide that compares the life of Hunter Gatherers on the left side of page and Farmers on the right side of page, use pictures and the Agricultural Revolution worksheet for help
HOMEWORK: work on your Google Slide tonight for 20 minutes and study for a short quiz tomorrow :)
