We took notes on Chapter 7, lesson 1 India's Geography.  This was completed on a worksheet and students finished for homework tonight and due Tuesday.

tuesday, january 9

Today, we made a map of India labeling and coloring according to the instructions on the worksheet.  Then students will watch the video below and then research the internet for more fun facts on India's geography.

Make sure to follow these instructions CAREFULLY!  Go in order!

  1. MAP the city of Varanasi on your map from yesterday - find it on internet

  3. DISCUSS how Indian people might USE the Ganges -- focus question -- Why do Indians depend on the Ganges River?​

  5. Decide which 2 pictures you'd like to focus on for the worksheet
  6. Now, answer the questions on the worksheet with your partner...answer fully, GO FOR IT!  THINK!
